Senior Data Engineer

Contract Type: Full time contractor role

We're looking for a Data Engineer with strong experience in modern data platforms and distributed processing technologies to contribute to the development of new data pipelines while improving and maintaining existing ones.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, improve, and maintain data pipelines.
Support existing data solutions and ensure their reliability and performance.
Build new data processing workflows and integrations.

Must Have

Strong experience with Scala.
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
Experience working with Apache Airflow.
Solid Python skills.
Experience with AWS data services, including Glue, S3, Snowflake, and Athena.
Upper-intermediate English level (B2) or higher.

Nice to Have

Experience with Java.
Knowledge of Databricks.
Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem.
Experience working with OLAP databases and query engines such as Hive, Presto, Redshift, ClickHouse, Impala, or similar.
