C++ Developer

Senior C++ Developer | .NET Modernization
We are looking for a Senior C++ Developer to join a major project for a well-known technology company, focused on modernizing legacy applications and evolving them into .NET services. This opportunity is aimed at professionals with C++ experience and .NET knowledge, as well as C++ developers with a C# foundation who want to deepen their experience in system modernization.
Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy C++ applications and define strategies to migrate functionality to .NET services.
• Design, develop and optimize C# services, prioritizing performance, scalability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with architects, QA and business analysts to meet functional, performance and compliance requirements.
• Develop unit, integration and performance tests.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot technical and performance issues, and document solutions to support knowledge transfer.

Must have

• Solid experience in C++ and hands-on knowledge of .NET (C#, .NET Core or .NET 5+).
• Knowledge of software architecture, monoliths and microservices.
• Experience with CI/CD, scripting and build tools.
• Knowledge of relational databases and debugging and optimization tools.
• Analytical skills, effective communication and adaptability to agile environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• Experience migrating applications from C++ to .NET or working on modernization projects.
• Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, AKS and Azure Monitor.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Entity Framework Core, Angular and full stack experience.
• Experience operating microservices in production.
